Meet our ambassador Malin!

Here we have Malin and her three Shetland Sheepdogs Jetson, Hugo, and Ezz. She runs her own business as a payroll consultant and enjoys having her four-legged colleagues at home for company. They have a keen interest in agility and love keeping active in their spare time. Besides agility, they also enjoy spending time together in the forest. They have also begun working on nosework training, where the dog uses its sense of smell to search for scents.

Malin has always been fond of animals. As determined as she is, she managed to wear her family down until they agreed to rabbits, budgerigars, horses, and finally a dog – the family’s first Shetland Sheepdog, Lettie. When Malin later set aside the horses and showjumping, agility became a natural choice for her within the world of dog sport.

For Malin, diet and health are close to her heart – both for herself and for her four-legged friends. It is an interest she has carried with her since childhood and one that has grown more and more over the years.

She has been using Raw for Paw for many years. The treats are a firm favourite at home and are used daily, as she is very particular about what her dogs eat.

“We use the dog treats a great deal. During periods of learning new tricks, there are quite a lot of treat rewards – the great thing about Raw for Paw is that you can use plenty of them without it affecting the dog’s weight. They make a great training treat and add a little everyday luxury.”

In addition to the treats, Brewer’s Yeast is used periodically to give the coat an extra boost during shedding and a lovely sheen all year round. A health smoothie with Greenies and Spirulina is added to the raw food at regular intervals for a little extra fibre for the gut and to give the body a boost of wonderful vitamins. When Jetson experiences occasional imbalances such as runny eyes or bad breath, he is given a course of Spirulina, Humin-Pet, and Green-lipped Mussel.
