Meet Felicia and Dino
Our ambassador Felicia lives with her two-year-old Labrador Retriever, Dino. Having animals has been a natural part of her life since childhood, when her family had both horses and a Labrador. That’s why choosing a Labrador as her first dog of her own felt like an obvious choice. However, ending up with Dino wasn’t particularly planned. When she saw an advert for him, she couldn’t resist reaching out and booking a meeting. After their first encounter, she knew – Dino was the dog for her.
Together, they have built a strong bond and spend a lot of time in the forest, where both exercise and calmness are in focus. Nosework has become a favourite activity, and they now compete in it. Felicia appreciates the teamwork the sport requires and how training has helped her better understand Dino’s signals and behaviour – something that has also proved valuable in everyday life.

Even though the competition is tough and it can be difficult to secure spots in events, she looks forward to continuing with nosework. She also plans to try other dog sports such as canicross and tracking, to develop and challenge both herself and Dino.
