Dog Life in Hälsingland – Meet Sara
In the heart of Hälsingland lives our ambassador Sara, who balances a life full of both work and family – and of course her three dogs. Her love of dogs has been with her since childhood, and going without one quickly proved impossible – after a short break without four-legged companions, it was time to get a dog again.
The home is now shared with three wonderful dogs, each with their own unique personality and role. Leia, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier born in 2017, is the family’s companion dog. Although they do a bit of light agility training for fun, it is mostly Leia’s charm and presence that makes her special. Then there is Meeko, an American Staffordshire Terrier who is just over three years old. With Meeko, she hopes to start showing soon, but is currently focused on keeping things enjoyable – results can wait. Last but not least, there is Elsa, an eight-year-old Hälleforsare. Forest walks and tracking training are Elsa’s favourite activities, and whilst all three dogs are welcome in the woods, it is Elsa who truly excels at tracking. At home, you can barely say the word “forest” without the dogs leaping about with joy.
As one of the first ambassadors, she has been with us for a long time. Her genuine enthusiasm for Raw for Paw’s products came naturally. Both she and the dogs love the products. Greenies and Brewer’s Yeast are staple products in their daily routine, primarily for coat, skin, and claws. The freeze-dried treats are also a firm favourite in their household – the elk flavour is the one that runs out fastest.
