Nina’s Dream of Life With a Dog Became a Reality

For our ambassador Nina, the dream of having a dog was something she long believed wouldn’t be possible due to asthma and allergies. When she discovered that her friend’s allergy-friendly dog didn’t cause any issues, it sparked hope. After doing her research and speaking with breeders, she chose a maltipoo – a loving, energetic and sociable breed. From their very first meeting, she knew Honey was the dog for her.

“When I met Honey, it just clicked! She chose me, and I chose her.”

It was during a period of sick leave that Nina decided to get her first dog, and it turned out to be a path back to wellbeing. With her presence and affectionate nature, Honey helped Nina live more in the moment and rediscover the small joys of everyday life.

Today, Honey is a natural part of Nina’s life. Together they enjoy exploring the forest or training agility, obedience and nosework. Training has played an important role for Honey, who had previously been bitten by other dogs and therefore became insecure and stressed during dog encounters. Through training, her confidence has grown, which has had a positive effect on meeting other dogs and handling new situations.

Focus on dog health and natural ingredients

After working in healthcare for many years, Nina places great importance on health – something she believes is just as important for her dog. As Honey has had issues with itching, watery eyes and a sensitive stomach, Nina pays close attention to the ingredients in the products she buys.
